As a practitioner that works with energy all the time it is imperative to me that I always cleanse regularly.

In between readings I cleanse with smoke, utilising the properties of various crystals and employing sound. All of this is great, however, every month I like to dismantle my altar and rebuild it. Cleansing with wipes on the furniture, washing the altar cloth, and rearranging the tools is a great way for me to completely start from a clean slate. Making sure nothing is sticking around.

The whole idea is similar to that when we clean our houses. We do spot cleaning and general maintenance all the time, however deep cleaning is necessary at some point too.

Doing this makes me a better practitioner by allowing me to work in a safe and pure environment which then makes me a more efficient professional.
